This Dynamics shows the Top 20 provinces/states with highest GDP in China in comparison with India from 1993 to 2019. Indian states had relatively similar GDP back in the 1990s, but as China joined WTO in 2001, its provinces' GDP increased drastically ever since. After 2020 records there should be more like a drastic change in all of matter economy but as of now lets just hope for the best for all nations.

China is a developing country, and US is the only one super power country in the world. Still a long way to go, maybe in some areas China and US can compete but not all the industries. I came from a village of Shandong Province, I can tell that the life of some farmers have been improved a lot, but it is way behind the people in the big cities.

In 1979 UK was 7th largest economy in world and heading down because of Socialist ideas, and about to be overtaken by Iran? Oh how two countries changed. UK is still in top 7 even though China and India have overtaken us, with faster growth. India even if it changes Party, will go from strength to strength, as long as they don't go back to their old Socialist ways :-))

You can fill your tummy just for 0.10 cent if you want to spend some spare amount of food in india .Some places even offer free food.Internet package can offer many gigabytes of data just in 1$ but if you are in USA it would be like 30$-100$ This is why it is best to compare economy in ppp terms.Also we cannot trust chinese data completely china being an communist nation can easily change the GDP data.China is untrustable country.India is 3rd largest already in gdp ppp terms being an developing country and growing faster it can overcome USA within 20 years according to forecast.If china did not have land grabbing attitude ,Ccp China and India would prosper together and would be economic powerhouse of world again.

PPP才是衡量經濟最好的指標，它考慮了生活成本和通貨膨脹等因素，這才能比較科學的衡量經濟發展水平。PPP的問題是比名義GDP更難衡量經濟。如果用GDP衡量，加利福利亞是世界第五大經濟體，但用PPP衡量就不是了。印度是主要的采用GDP和PPP兩種方法衡量差距比較大的國家。印度只有3.2萬億GDP，但如果采用PPP測算應該是12萬億，這意味著印度的物價比美國物價便宜4倍。中國GDP是14萬億，采用PPP標準應該是14×2=28萬億，這意味著中國物價比美國便宜2倍。如果你在印度只需要花0.1分就能填飽肚子。一些地區甚至提供免費食物。1美元網絡套餐能提高很多兆的流量，但如果在美國，同樣的流量套餐需要30到100美金，這就是為什么PPP能更好的衡量經濟。如果采用PPP標準，作為一個發展中國家，印度已經是世界第三大經濟體。根據預測，印度快速發展20年內能夠超越美國。如果中國沒有擴大領土的態度，中印將會一起繁榮，并且再一次成為世界的經濟強國。

Can you imagine.. All states of India have a long way to go. But my bet would be on Bihar, UP considering such huge potential.. they have a way to pull India up or drag India down.. I am optimistic about India's future
